Vision Runners International

Everyone has questions, especially about church. We've been to some churches that were totally scary, so what we have done is taken our 10 most frequently asked questions and answered them here for you. If you have more questions by all means please contact us, we'd love to give you an answer.

1. What kind of Church is Vision Runners?

   Vision Runners of VRI is a non-denominational church. We are distinctly Christian in our beliefs and doctrine but believe that church should help us deal with the real issues of our lives. We typically preach messages in Sermon Series that focus on particular areas of our everyday lives.

2. Can we really wear what we want?

   Yep.

3. What kind of music do you play?

   We play a mix of Christian Contemporary and Christian Rock. Bands like Casting Crowns, Toby Mac, and Barlowgirl

4. Do you offer anything for my kids?

6. What will Sunday be like?

   Our Worship Experiences are 1 hour long and very lively and upbeat. We use video, skits, props to help convey a message to you. On Sunday there is no preasure to join. In fact we do ask that you fill out a connection card but that's only so we can send you a thank you note for visiting with us.

7. Will I have to stand up, read anything, or say my name?

   During worship you may stand or worship as you are comfortable. Other than that we will NOT ask you to stand, or read, or introduce yourself to the room.

8. Why do you meet in a Movie Theater?

   When Jesus lived He went to the places where people lived and congregated to share the gospel. We dont see to many times that He was actually in a synagogue teaching. So we wanted to adopt His model and meet where people congregate and hang out. In our society that's in the coffee shops, movie theaters, and malls.

9. What are Life Groups?

   Life Groups are non-threatening, non-judgemental environments where we get together in small groups and discuss the previous Sunday's smessage. The goal of Life Group is to help each group member learn how to apply the lessons from Sunday to their everyday life. Life groups meet in homes, by conference call, or in coffee shops.

10. Why is the name Vision Runners?

    Actually, our full name is Vision Runners International. Part of the dream that God gave us is to create a community where everyone is on a path to figuring out their God given purpose and running with it. The international represents the cutural mix of people at Vision Runners and is a statement of believe that God will eventually take Vision Runners international.
